I am thankful for so many things---First off I am thankful I wake up every morning.
I am thankful I am able to follow this path and go on hikes
I am thankful to find a waterfall like this
I am thankful to find a place like this on the banks of the Nooksack River to eat my lunch
I am thankful to find a little lake and parklike surrounding area
I am thankful we still have big trees

I love all of those things too. I do fear my hiking days are over, but I am thankful I can still enjoy the beauty all around me.
