A few friends

A few household pets

Little Niblet sitting on the porch rail as seen through the kitchen window
 Mellow Yellow
Dorothy trying to laugh at her antlers and ears---but not quite making it
Jack giving me the WTH look as if to say "I am not an elf on the shelf with pinkish ears"

Clouds

Again with the clouds you say!  Yes of course by now you know that clouds fascinate me so you get to see some today early morning ones.

They start out this way:
And a few minutes later they looked like this--kinda reminds one of 'The Simpsons'.
And then the sky erased all the clouds and it was brilliant blue.----It was a good day.

Thankful Thursday

Thanksgiving-----A day we all decide we are thankful for certain things----we should be thankful everyday.  I am.  First of all I am thankful that I wake up every morning---so far anyway.   Many things to be thankful for.  And I try I really do to say Thanks to it all.

I am thankful for all my friends--face to face or across the internet.
Have a great day all.   MB

A treasure

This is my Betty Crocker cookbook I got when I first was married.  My Mother-in-law saved up her green stamps  (I hope I am not dating myself) and got it for me.  As you can see it is well used and loved.

I went on etsy and found another--first edition same year---egads it was 50 bucks but I got it and retired my old one and have it's clone

Sniff sniff

When Bob dropped several trees this past Spring and Summer he made some huge piles of branches and other debris.  He burned them a couple of weeks ago .  Nice burn in the drizzley weather.  After the fires were over and no hot spots left Jacky had to examine the area.  He loves dirt.

Signs

Linking to Tom's Signs2~HERE

In 1963 the farm grew only green peas for 3 local processors. With the exodus of processors from the Skagit Valley we have become a fresh market farm. The Great Pumpkin Patch history was a small dairy farm homesteaded by the Hansen Family. It was held in this family for 4 generations. For the last 15 years it has been farmed by the Schuh Family and is now owned by the Schuh’s. This is our “Great Pumpkin Patch” to grow for generations to enjoy.

mosaic

It is time for Mosaic Monday and I have some pics of what is happening here---weatherwise

So we have had some rain but then again the sun comes out and makes us smile.  Trees are still turning but most have lost all their leaves.  Our Beech tree stays almost fully leafed and in color most of the winter.

I'm back

No internet since Friday---couldn't get a tech out until today and now we are back online.  Really weird not being able to use any devices.  well I could do some stuff but not on my computer or streaming movies.

Had to go to the dentist today and across from the dental office is the local transit stop.  I am fascinated by it.  this is Arlington, Wa.

Thankful

I feel so fortunate to be able to have or see or be around all these things right here at home.

A fun dog who is a real character

 14 apple trees to enjoy
 Pretty leaves to look at
 And more

And a mountain to enjoy looking at right from the house
All these thing and more I am thankful for and that is what's in my world
