Lonesome fence

Out in the middle of nowhere.

My new craft cart

I was thinking I needed a cart for my cardmaking craft.  Something I could roll out to the kitchen table so I could work at the table without being too messy.  This is me talking.  haha!

So Bob said he would make me one......And he did!   I love it.

Sky Watch

We have had a solid several weeks of RAIN and very overcast skies.  Maybe a slight sunbreak but mostly not.
Here a picture from a year or so ago but is sure is pretty.  Not too far from our place.  It is an old farm now a b&b, or a place to have a special event with horse drawn wagons and lots of fun stuff.

Reflections from the dinner table

Thanksgiving dinner at the Ranch.  I was sitting at the table looking at the picture on the opposite wall and I saw all kinds of stuff.  Hey, reflection time.  See the silo outside and the horse in the picture and the lights are hanging from the ceiling and not in the picture.  I just thought it was neat.  The second image just to show a little perspective.

We are wet

Today is Pearl Harbor day===a day of Infamy===my youngest's birthday.
Happy Birthday, Little Jo the wrangler.

Images from Tuesday, Dec. 4th

The morning dawned promising.  This is waiting for sunrise.  It is 8:00am
At noon we are in Mount Vernon and the sky is being covered with black clouds
The sun at noon was being hidden.  The sun's position  is about 8:00 in the sky and will set at 4:00.  Short dark days.  Although not as short as Elaine's up in Fairbanks  http://akelaine.blogspot.com

We have had rain ever since and it is getting squishy here.

Today is also Skywatch Friday so if you go to www.skyley.blogspot.com you will view many sky images from all over the world.

Ho-Hum........for Barn Charm

My daughter's cat 'Stache', is sitting in front of the old chicken barn that is in the process of being torn down.  Obviously the care doesn't care.  Stache has a twin with only half a mustache---aptly named 'half stache'.

Ranch ride

We all spent Thanksgiving at my Daughter and Son-in-law's ranch in Eastern wa.  The girls brought their horses because we all planned a nice ride the day after Thanksgiving.  Wednesday and Thursday were sunny and beautiful but Friday turned out dark and damp but the ride took place anyway.
Here is Kylee on her little Dally horse meeting up with Junior, one of the big ranch horses, for the first time. Bandit making sure no fights break out. (lol).
Bundled up and ready to go.  The dogs get to go too
Bye bye

I pass this barn in Stanwood quite a bit but couldn't get a picture from the road.  So I went right in the driveway and snapped away.  There was an old guy working on his tractor to the front and left of the barn.  I don't think he even saw me.  heehee

I hope everybody has a wonderful Thanksgiving and if that isn't your holiday I hope your have a wonderful day anyway.  Be Thankful!!

Foggy Sunrise

I took the first picture at 8AM this morning---lots of fog around---took the second pic, of the same view, one hour later.  The fog was lifting and we had sunny skies for most of the day.  The fog did return in the evening.

Eagletime

From one angle----I can't see the face/  Windy huh
 Posing
Coming home from town we decided to check on the Eagle nest down by the Stilly River.  The nest was empty but across the road was an Eagle at the top of a tree.  It was a breezy and rainy day.  I should have taken a picture of the nest.  Next time.
