Yard Treasures
Found these up the road in Bow, Wa. Someone is very creative and has lots of time on their hands.
I think they are great!
Isn't this horse pretty
Lotsa teeth
I love this 'snake'.

Odd Bodkins--er I mean Barns
I saw these silos from afar and decided I had to find them---so down a dirt side road I went and there was this farm. really neat silos I thought
This barn and farm was was just off the main road. I went up their driveway
This barn with house attached was on the main road albeit a small side road

Cordwood Cabin
I love this cabin. I have never seen anyone in or about it. But it seems semi-well taken care of. I don't even know it's history. I see it has a new tin roof. Love the moss and ferns on the untouched part.
Cordwood construction' (also called "cordwood masonry," "stackwall construction","stovewood construction" or "stackwood construction") is a term used for a natural building method in which "cordwood" or short pieces of debarked tree are laid up crosswise with masonary or cob mixtures to build a wall.

Uff Da
There is an all Scandinavian shop in Stanwood called The Uff Da shoppe and this is on the side of a barn not far from me. At the shop you can find all sorts of goods from Scandinavia---books, dolls, cups, oh too much to list. the shop is so tiny that it is hardly navigable but still fun to look around

A soggy foggy day
The only reason I was out today was to go to the feed store but I did take a picture or two
Those are Trumpeter Swan in the foreground. Look at the fog rolling down from the hills

Playing in the creek
We enjoy the outdoors almost anytime. Not too much rain please.
Creeks are fun to splash around in
Or go boulder hopping
A Labrador Retriever loves the water any old time.
