MY OTHER BLOG--TAKE A CHANCE
Well Stanwood really doesn't have a skyline. I tried but it is really hard to take a picture---Trees, wires etc.
Stanwood was settled in 1866 and incorporated in 1903
We love the Snow Geese here (except for a few farmers)
The skyline
Main street looking west from East Stanwood
Just to show you where we are. To the left of the image we are connected by bridge to Camano Island

Gazanias are one of my favorite flowers. I started them from seed this year and have them in all my flower beds. They come in many different colors more than I have so look out next year!

July is Bingo's Birthday month. He is the sweetest and happiest dog ever. He loves people and other animals and just wants to be petted to pieces. He was such a tiny little pup when I got him but I can't find any pics. they are in my folders somewhere.
Tiny boy riding in the Gator when feeding horses or just riding around. and then he started growing
And growing
He likes to think of himself as a lap dog There is a person under there---smushed
And now he is an almost senior citizen with a little gray showing up on his muzzle
He likes to play peek-a-boo in the flowers.
He is my treasure

Stanwood barns
This place was way back in the woods and I don't even know if I could find it again. Questionable dirt road with a leave me alone look. the house is unique and the little horse shelter I am going to call it a barn---for today.

I was taking pictures of This Sweet Little Hummingbird and she obliged me--posing and flitting about
Later we found a bird in the sky light and had to rescue her---maybe she is the same one.
Hummingbirds love Crocosmia
Also Larkspur
Here's the one in the sky light
Who's hiding in the bushes.
Here is Bingo patiently waiting to go for a walk

The sky was so beautiful tonight so we had to go to one of our favorite vantage points and take a plethora of Sunset pictures.
Here is the first---we almost were too late.
You can tell by the upper clouds that it is raining up high and looking southish was a rainbow---almost a night bow
And then "Day is done, Gone the sun" It was very beautiful
