 This delightful lady filled me in on all kinds of goings on at this wonderful library.

The first of every month is a theme day for CityDailyPhoto and September 1st is Library.  Libraries reflect our hometown and Stanwood is a warm and friendly town as is our library

A bit of this and that

It is Outdoor Wednesday time so let's look at what is going on outdoors.
Remember I showed pics of Bob cutting down trees and sawing them into rounds HERE  well now he is cutting them to woodstove size.

 And this is just part of it. Bob does a good job of this he makes it seem effortless and I know it is not.

Good Fences

I don't recall if I had shown this fence before but I like it so here it is again.

 Nice white fences and a pink rose bush  (Remember 'A white Sport coat and a Pink carnation)---Close?

In case anyone wondered--the tool in the previous is a "Nail Puller".

And that is what Bob is doing.  He dropped 3 trees out in his woods.  Alder for firewood next year.

A real treasure

Do you know what this is?  It belongs to Bob and is still used today.  It is over 80 yrs old I don't really know how old but over 80.

 And made in the good 'ol USofA.
