Barn Collective

This first barn and house are on Dodge Valley Road on Fir Island.  A real nice place over 100 yrs old and the top of Mt. Baker in the background

this picture is on the same road--well across a field of Cabbage over to the next road and across a field of potatoes--- Looking West instead of East
-I think fields of potatoes are so pretty when they bloom.

Greatest view in the world

Stayed awhile at a fire lookout tower in Oregon one summer.  It was very cool.  The out house was away from the tower but it had the best view.

It was a long walk at night time---but I did't think it necessary to walk that far----who was around to see us anyway---at night that is.
We were on top of the world

Old Barn

I never noticed this barn before even though I drive past almost every day.  It is on a corner that has become industrial.  Just a corner property full of trees and brush.  One day driving by I noticed the trees coming down and the brush being torn up.   Underneath all that greenery was a small house a shed and this barn.  The house and shed were torn and so far the barn is still standing.
This is the image I took when I first saw it you can see it looks like it has just been found
Now everything has been cleaned up around it
Is it a barn or what.  I like it.

Happy Birthday Bingo

This Month Bingo is 11 years old.  He is just the best sweetest pup ever.  He is a mostly American Staffordshire Terrier---I say mostly because his Mom was like one quarter Rottweiler
Here he is today:  Graying up like the rest of us old timers
Such a tiny pup--now he is way too big to sit in the 'Gator. Notice he has a gingerbread boy on his chest
He always has been the designated Babysitter---here he is with Penelope
And he loved sweet kitty named Niblet
He loved playing stick with Joe-sea-----sadly Joe-sea is waiting for Bingo and us at the Rainbow Bridge
Guarding the stairs with Napoleon and Penelope
 Josea, Penelope and Bingo
More of Penelope.  I wonder if Bingo thinks he is a small dog because he was raised with small dogs
 Joesea as a baby
Don't they look alike?  Bingo is Staffie and Joesea is Bassett Hound and Lab
