Blue Sky Today

It was a beautiful sunny day today (2/21/2019) so we took the new dog and went for a ride up to the Nooksack River--The Twin Sisters

Twin Sisters Mountain, commonaly called the Twin Sisters, is a mountain in Whatcom County.  Part of the Cascade Range, it lies SW of Mt. Baker.  Of its two peaks, South twin is highest at 6,940 feet.  North Twin is 6660 feet high.  There are several glaciers on the NE slopes of the Mountain

Part of the Nooksack River where the Eagles love to fish for Salmon.
And the Daffodils are coming up in the Valley

New pics of the doggies---same field just no snow this time

Off Dorothy and I  go down the path to the back pasture
 Running, leaping, playing
And then a nice stick to chew on
I got tired and went to bed and then fell out of my bed

Stanwood

Stanwood is among the smallest cities in Snohomish County, with an estimated population of 7,096 people in 2017.
Stanwood was noted for its historically large Scandinavian population, particularly Norwegians, who settled in the region in the early 20th century.
