Q. What is the difference between an Alligator and a Crocodile?
A. One will see you later and the other will see you after while
So last night I tried to do my blog and my computer was having none of it. so this morning I tried again and now it is afternoon and finally the images showed up. I am thankful but full of questions for the cyber gods.
I am posting my blog doing two memes. I see others doing this so I suppose it is okay.
Tom has a new meme called TUESDAY TREASURES and you will find it HERE
The other is RUBY TUESDAY TOO~~~~~HERE
Some treasures. This is a sidewalk sale I had at the shop where I used to have a stall. I only sold a couple of things in the sale. Phooey!
These are ancient blow torches that I did sell later
This very old place is on the ranch. Another treasure
And these Valentines are represents the Ruby Tuesday Too meme. I belong to a card swap thingie. These are some cards I got last year.
So visit the Memes and ENJOY!
Some of these things are odd and some silly and just stuff
Left side upper corner is a guest cottage that at one time was a water tower on an early farm. Moving right is a carved bear that gets dressed for every season and then poor Santa had to use a cow to travel the world and looks like he ended up a skeleton and below that is Donald the seasonal Elephant and moving left a railroad trestle and finally someone tipped over the phone booth.

Barns in the Skagit Valley. A couple in Stanwood and a couple in the Nooksack Valley
This one in Skagit Valley. I always liked this outfit with the Blue roofs.
And Mt. Baker in the background
This is a newer barn in Stanwood
Share the road
This old barn is on the ranch my daughter lives on. It is coming down.
Nooksack Valley barn
And another
This is a barn at my place. Looks like it needs a paint job. Any volunteers?

I happened to catch this guy hanging about the feeders. These birds are mostly ground birds but I think he was curious and wanting to test the waters. I occasionally see one near the feeders in the tree anyway. this fellow actually landed on the suet feeder, startled himself and off he went. At least he let me get some shots.
Varied Thrush
Peek a booo
I see you and a Junco too
Such a pretty bird
Sharing the tree with a Downey woodpecker
Peeking again
The feeders and the whole deck was filled with birds. these are Juncos

I tried all day yesterday and into the night to upload my pictures from my camera to my computer and it just would not do it---nothing,nada, phlooey and then this morning--all is well. Why does that happen???
Well almost night and early morning.
Early evening about half an hour before sunset---Mt. Rainier from the deck of my house in Stawood
Next morning from the deck at Bob's house

We sometimes go to a road right down the road from our place to catch a sunset because our house faces East for a nice sunrise and looking west for a sunset there are too many trees
It's a nice white fence. I think it is vinyl---If one could afford it it is the only way to go.
Closer and you can see some of the Skagit River way in the foreground
And here is the sunset we saw.

I know it seems I have shown a lot of Eagle shots but that's what's going on out this way right now.
The Eagles in the right hand corner I call 'The three Wise Men' because they look like they are judging the activities of the rest of the Eagles.
Just a bunch in a tree
Down on the riverbank
