This is a picture of my eldest daughter on the ranch in Ritzville.  It is a very large cattle ranch and they do most of the work on horseback and with the help of cattle dogs.

One barn Autumn Barn---and another

The first barn is right down the road from our house

This sky pic shows the house and property across the road from my house where my daughters are living.  You can see my driveway and trees bottom center
The reason I posted this is because I always mention we live on or in the tree farm and with this shot one can see how this place was cut out from the tree farm.
this is a real estate picture---this property is for sale

Sears catalog home kits

Cover of 1922 Sears Modern Homes catalog
Sears Catalog Homes (sold under the Sears Modern Homes name) were catalog and kit houses sold primarily through mail order by Sears, Roebuck and Company, an American retailer. Sears reported that more than 70,000 of these homes were sold in North America between 1908 and 1940.[1] More than 370 different home designs in a wide range of architectural styles and sizes were offered over the program's 33-year history.  Wikipedia

Oh Dear, Deer

We have lots of deer that live around and near us.  We are surrounded by 15,000 acres of forest.  Lots of territory for Deer.
We all so have an orchard of 14 apple trees plus Plum, Cherry and Pear trees.  Oh the Deer love them all so we share with them.  They clean up all the windfalls and we appreciate that.  Most of the the Deer we see are Mamas and their little ones.  Although the first pic is a spike

And Bingo watches and waits.  He doesn't chase them---well sometimes but he knows they will jump over the fence and be long gone
