While today was just fog and yesterday was gray the day before was bright and sunny.  There was a beautiful sunset.  We went down to the valley to capture the sunset but look what we saw when we turned to the east.  Mt. Baker with a sunset glow.

This guy is a Towhee one of my favorite little birds.  He is usually a ground bird, scratching in the underbrush but decided to try the suet feeder where he was too big so jumped into a hanging basket and found a piece of corn.

It has been getting cold here.  Low temps but clear and sunny days.  So much moister was in the air and ground from all the wet weather so when we woke up there was lots of frost.  These are yesterday's pictures.  today at 8:30 AM it is 19 degrees F.  Brrrrr!!!  But it is much colder elsewhere so we take what we get.  Fire in the woodstove, hot chocolate and fuzzy socks-----Winter is here.

This was taken in December when we woke to a slight trace of snow------but we had some blue sky for the day.  We are supposed to have dry weather tomorrow---cold and maybe some sun.

It is wet here and very gray.  we have had continuous rain and more in the forcast.  We are building an ark.

The Mountain is out

We have had some nice sunny days---well 2 days--cold, crisp and sunny.  Right now it is 8AM and 24 degrees F.  Meaning it will be a sunny day.  Perfect for being outside and walking or playing with the dog. 
It also means the scenery is beautiful.
