As I was being a passenger driving down the freeway from Mount Vernon to Stanwood I thought I would capture views from I-5.
This place used to be surrounded by apple orchards but when the old folks retired and junior took over he tore out the orchard but continued to sell Apple cider. It is a self serve place---always open

We have had a very dry and warm---for here---July and so far in August. We did have some rain overnight 2 nights ago. The raindrops on the flowers--who by the way really enjoyed the rain---are always so pretty.
The raindrops are on the Peacock Orchid (Acidanthera bicolor) plant reflecting the Snapdragons behind them
A few pictures of the Stillaguamish River/Hat Slough where we had a nice calming visit.
