Birds and barn for Barn Charm

I cut across the Stilly Valley to go into town and to check on the birds.  I always try to get some shots of the Trumpeter Swans as they fly over.  I never get a good shot.  but I like this one with the barn as a background.  Enlarge it if you like.  MB
Wing your way over to Tricia's http://bluffareadaily.blogspot.com/ to see more charming barns

I didn't see the 'mimetic' birds at first... A gret picture literally on the fly!

Swans fly fast! And I like how you captured them flying over the barn.

Birds enhance just about any photo...you caught those perfectly...

So sorry you had trouble sending your email...perhaps the lunar situation sent shock waves through your computer?

I'm very pleased you saw fit to watch the lunar eclipse. I did not. So, I'm going to have to wait to see your photos to know what happened. I can imagine you out on our deck in the middle of the night, sipping a glass of wine and taking moon pictures with one hand all of which come out tack-sharp!

I love you saying about the rope and horse...and my golf ball has been lost in those rocks (but I haven't)...and I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you with those trees...you are very sensitive, aren't you?

I'll try to do better, but I'm warning you now that I'll probably post more Xmas trees before the 12 days of Christmas are over!

You were in the right place at the right time to catch these swans in front of that barn!

Some people say light is everything when it comes to photography. There is a lot of truth to that - but you also need to be in the right place at the right time!

Enjoyed the image on the side of the Indian school this past Saturday. That native art which I associate with the Pacific Northwest is so unique and interesting.

Now THAT is something you do NOT see out here in Iowa! That's too bad as it is very nice.

Take care.
