That library looks a lot like our old one. Crowded and way too many books in our old one to be a nice thing to see. People just went there in droves to borrow books. Since the new one opened people have forgotten about how cramped the old one is. Now the new one is that way as they have added so much more stuff. And hurricane Ike took the roof off and I noticed it is still covered with a large blue tarp. I wonder what winter will do to that.
I forgot about theme day today so I just found some of the books I wrote and took a photo and published that. Too late to be included in the group but it worked for me. LOL
What a fabulous place - from the sign to the words about being open and closed - too funny! to the store itself which looks amazing. I love this place. My idea of heaven for sure. Lovely images.
What a cool sign (I am open when I'm here...). I wish I'd been paying attention to Theme Day but I forgot. I'm feeling rather spacey these days. Gotta plant my feet more firmly on the ground, I fear. ;-)

Your fairy is called Columbine Goblindancer She is a bringer of riches and wealth. She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows. She is only seen when the bees swarm and the crickets chirrup. She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.

Hallo MaryBeth, nice photos of your Gdaughter and you beautiful sourroundings!
I wish you a happy weekend!
Seriously, this is where I want to work--starting right now!
That sign is both profound and resonating. I'm here when I'm here, and the converse is true. Love it!
Looks like a good place to find some bargains and I like the attitude....laid back and friendly. :) Good one, MB!
Greetings from Juneau (Alaska) Daily Photo!
It looks like a relaxing place to browse. My kind of book store.
Love the sign!:)

Wow, look at all of the books. I think I would like the owner, I at least like the messages.
I imagine this is a great bookstore to pass some time. It certainly looks very welcoming and comfortable. Good choice for today for sure.

Wonderful choice, it seems a very special library and a cozy one, where it must feel really nice to sit down and read.
"Louis" the bookworm neglected to sign up for theme day, but he's had fun stopping and visiting those of you who did.
