Today is the First day of Spring. And subtle changes are going on in the Valley.
A soft gentle sunset
Fat puffy white clouds
And dark ominous ones
Snow Geese thinking about winging their way up North
Gold in the Valley
Resident Eagles nesting
Trumpeter Swan gobbling their last bite before heading North also.
All this and more going on. A tableau unfolding before us.

Beautiful spring photos... Can't wait til we get some COLOR here. We have had a few nice, spring-like days ---but they say it's gonna get cold again next week... Mercy!!!!

Today has been a beautiful day, even sit outside on the patio for a while, letting the sun hit my aching back. It seems to help. Hope tomorrow is just as nice. They claim by Tuesday we may have some snow, not much but then again, snow. Thanks for your visits.
Great great photos - I loved the big puffy clouds the other day - a sign of spring coming for sure. Can't wait for the tulips!

It won't be long now until we make our annual trip to your valley to see the tulips and visit Christianson's and look for eagles and enjoy the clouds and the mountains before crossing over to our island. It makes me excited thinking about it!

Some ask: will a winter ever end?
We saw our first two Canada Geese at the cabin this week. I also discovered who has been digging holes in my garden. I was afraid it was a mole (that seemed a stretch, how would one get out on the garden float) or mice hanging out underground for the winter. I saw a huge raven rooting around out there this week. That both a relief and a worry all in one. - Margy
