Our National Treasure

I suppose the Bald Eagle could be our National Treasure.  Captured the first one in the summer at my girlfriends home on Camano Island .  this bird was in the tree right over her house.

Yesterday's picture as opposed to the the beautiful blue sky summer, was a dark and really dreary day.  We just had to get out for a ride across the valley and check out some of the existing eagle nests
We have lots of resident Eagles here but many from way up north come to the Skagit Valley for the Winter.  I have a plethora of eagle shots the next one taken at a nest near us.  Look the one is sayING "To the Moon Alice, to the moon" while the other one is squawking back "yeah, yeah yeah".
Or maybe not----feel free to use your own captions
Here is an old relic dressed up for the Holidays

That first shot is glorious! What a bird. I love the old tractor, too. I guess I like anything old that can be decked out and still be attractive. :)

The eagle photos are fantastic especially that one talking. The tractor looks pretty good for its age, I like its fall decorations.

Mary Beth, how lucky you are to see our treasured eagle, not a common sight in this area. Now old tractors are another subject, how neat. I hope that you will be able to linkup so that everyone can enjoy your post...thanks so much.

I don't know how I forgot it, but I forgot Tuesday's Treasures. Though not sure I would have joined, cause I am not getting a lot of visiting done.

You are so lucky to have an eagle's next near you. We drove all over today and I was on the lookout for an eagle but not a one in sight.

Oh, how did you know what they were saying in that one photo? It sure is fitting.
