On My Way Home

Ritzville welcomes me.  Pretty blue skies.
Leaving Ritzville heading West over these mountains and more mts.  Just to let you know I took these pictures on the freeway 70 miles an hour----Don't try this  EVER!!!
Heading West over the mighty Columbia
Climbing up the east side.
Over the top--Snoqualmia Pass
The West side of the pass heading home

It was nice to get home but I am ready to fly by the seat of my pants again.  MB

Well welcome back MB! The photos are gorgeous but my gosh you like to live dangerously :) Is that a Sumac in the first photo?

Glad you made it safely home. The pass looked to be in good shape. I'm ready to leave again, too. When do we leave? :)

So, where ya goin' next? Somewhere warm, perchance?

I really never considered you one of those "dare-devil" drivers -:)

What a difference a mountain range can make. I remember Snoqualmia Pass during snow storms so bad all I could see was the tail lights in front of me. Thanks for the memories.

I enjoyed all of your pictures of your trip home, but I promise never to tell how you got that second photo.

Lovely photos of the drive over Snoqualmie! We're heading down your way at the end of the week. I am hoping the snow will be gone. I get enough of that at home!

What a set of photos, every one is peculiar, but my favorites are obviously the first two!

Glad you are home after your 70 mph adventure. I have taken pictures out the window of a car, but not while driving.

Well, I'd sure as hell be impressed if you took these on the side of the road with a tripod! Fantastic shots; I frame and hang several of them!

I know you have a very steady hand, but you must also have had a very clean windshield!

But I'm getting mixed signals...you're glad to be home but wouldn't have minded staying a little longer?

Welcome back, whatever!

You really are funny. Re the Chili's photo - I didn't notice that guy. And no, it wasn't me! I never do that in public. Well, almost never. Okay, sometimes. ;-)

Now these are some fantastic shots, MB! My favourite is the second one, the mountains look amazing. And what a gorgeous contrasting light on top.

Gorgeous pictures, Mary Beth... Welcome home--and welcome back... I love that 2nd picture since it looks like a painting...

The first picture brought a smile to my face since we haven't seen the sun in awhile. We have about 6 inches of snow on the ground here and it's still flurrying.
Hugs,
Betsy
