No mountain~~~just clouds~~~~Sky Watch

We have had no sky since the 14th I believe. Just solid overcast gray. So I went back to Sept 9th for this cloudy shot taken from my deck. If the mountain was out next to the tree she would be. Just being poetic for a moment. It has been sorta nice out even though we have had torrential rains. Temps in the high 60s. Just right for me.
Happy Sky Watching!! MB

Those are some dramatic skies. The clouds do look rather heavy with rain!! Hope you get some clear skies soon...

It's a busy sky, even without the mountain.

Clouds are nice. Wish you could send some full of rain over here. We haven't had any precip for about 2 weeks now and it's still HOT. My garden is not happy.

Happy Friday and keep skywatching. :)

Instead of sitting inside moping about all the clouds, you find the beauty in them! Congrats!

It was so nice to wake up to sunshine this morning, and after all that rain, everything is so fresh and nicer than it could ever be without the rain.

I know you get tired of the clouds but it's a beautiful looking sky to me, and I really envy your temps! I think I will head to the beach this weekend...

I like the temperature to be in the 60s too. Sheesh! I hope the weather lets you see Mount Rainier pretty soon!

Even if the mountain isn't to be seen, you still captured a great picture of the clouds.

This warm rain will make all of the grass grow, and the weeds.

I long to see the clouds to give us a break from the never-ending sunshine. Even typing that sounds awful...I'm such a whiner!

Hi Mary Beth, We are the opposite---too much sun and sky this summer. Both George and I cheer when our skies get cloudy and we get a tiny bit of rain... WE are just so dry here... Don't know what this dryness will do to our Fall colors. The leaves on many of our trees are just dying...

Love your picture!!!!
Hugs,
Betsy

Clouds like this are really great every now and then... but after a long stretch, I find them heavy on the spirit. It's maybe the only reason I don't live on the West Coast anymore.
