Floating on a sea of clouds

Mount Rainier is out this morning. I took these pictures from my deck at 7AM. She was out yesterday but by 10am the clouds had risen to cover her. Always a beautiful sight in the morning. Isn't the fog pretty laying in the trees. Now that it is cooler in the morning the sky is clearer but it will be a sunny day today.
Sunny and 70s---perfect!!

The fog is beautiful, but I'm happy that it will clear away faster today.

These are all gorgeous, but I have a fondness for fog and low-lying clouds, so I really like the last two.

From that deck of yours, eh? 70 degrees, eh? Goodness, that's so warm you can probably run around in a bikini! We're getting down to 70 at night now - love how cold it is!

Re your comment on Florida Fotos...I knew you'd know what that was...especially if it was something that got rid of pesky critters!

Hope you're having a good day and that it doesn't get too hot - you know, like all the way up to 71 degrees!

Heh, heh!

Re your comment on Stone Creek: It always helps if us old folks get very precise instructions.

It's 18°C (64.4°F) here but feels warm because it's humid. I just got back from a walk in the forest and feel very warm but will soon cool down.

Love the photos with the fog. It looks like autumn to me.

Love your last picture, it shows a kind of magic land!

The fog is mysterious and any time you can see Rainier it's spectacular.

thank you B! I love your small city scenes blog and look forward to visiting. The landscape shots are amazing! It makes me immediately want to plan a trip to the mountains. I am glad I can share the shore with you. The crappy photos blog is a riot! My god, I have thousands, millions of crappy photos all going to waisting...what an wonderful concept. The pine cone looks like it is from outer space...cool stuff!
