I went to the big city od Seattle Sunday to go see the hapless Mariners play baseball. I went with my friend and even though the final score was (I think) 11-3--Mariners lost AGAIN, we had a fun time. Saw Captian Underpants. Made lots of jokes and laughed ourselves silly. (doesn't take much). Then we drove around and took in the sights. I haven't been to downtown Seattle for a few years. We went to a nice restaurant and had a filling meal. It also was my friend birthday and the waitress brought a bread pudding dessert with a candle in it so we laughed so much we fell under the table. Pretty sky to start the end of the day.

I love a day when everything makes me laugh! I've been too serious and intense lately. I should take in a ball game! Captain Underpants is a hoot!
I would love to go to a ballgame, even if the home team lost. It has been so many years. The Rangers play about 75 miles from me, just to far to drive and cost is out of my budget.

Great shots of Safeco Field, the players, and Captain Underpants. I love knowing you were here having some fun! So, where did you guys have dinner? Sorry you didn't bring luck to the team, but, at least we're not the Padres!
