Swinomish Channel

Skagit Bays lies on the north and west side of Stanwood. North of Stanwood off of Skagit Bay and on the Swinomish channel is the small town of La Connor. A beautiful small town with many beautiful old buildings now a wonderful place to visit.

What a pretty little harbor. Busy too? Looks like there are quite a few boats, sailboats & ships.

It really does look like a quaint little place. Many boats line the harbor so much fishing must happen in the area. The water looks so beautiful... it must smell wonderful there!
Beautiful photography!

I thank you very much for coming by and leaving a nice comment on my blog. It meant so much to me. More than you will ever know. Thanks so much!! =)

Beautiful town. I always love the seaside. I'm not a big fan of swimming in it but a stroll down the harbor or the beach is really something I enjoy doing =) Cheers!

There are some great restaurants in La Conner too. We had good friends that lived there for many years but now live on Guemes Island.

I always enjoy lunch at the Calico Cupboard near the west end of town.

Beautiful inlet views MB. I can smell the salt spray from here. One thing wonderful about living on the West coast is there's no shortage of gorgeous scenery.

Who wants a large city when a small one is so perfect?

Beautiful photos of the Pacific Northwest. Many years ago I visited one of my brothers who lived in Pt. Roberts. Such a pretty area with water, trees, boats and great skyline of the coastal mountains.
