That first shot looks much like the "comic" effect I sometimes use. It works well in this instance for sure! And the barn is a classic. A lovely post for sure!

Si, Lois and live in a similar house just down the road. But our home is much smaller than most of the model homes...remember we wanted to downsize and we did and it's quite comfy even if small.
There is a certain sameness to the resort, but we've come to like that. The Shea organization takes care of all the yard work. However, as people move in, they generally immediately begin to make things "their own." And even with certain "restrictions" the neighborhoods look different.''
Ultimately, there will be 1500 homes in this Trilogy resort. Which is just about the right size.
Somehow I wonder why there are so many very old barns and abandoned. This probaly was very useful in "the old days"
