Barns and Road Trippin'

Well this is weird.  These two pictures are way out of order but here they are and try as I might I cannot move them.  The first is a barn for Toms barn collective and the second show where we are going for a week. The Northwestern most tip of the state of Washington out in the Pacific Ocean.  So enjoy!
On the map directly east of the mark where we will be is the interstate 5 logo and that is where Stanwood is and I live NE of Stanwood up in the woods.
We will be gone for about a week---Off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of Oz! we are going to Neah Bay for some visiting, relaxing and fishing. Many pictures and news then.  We went there 2 yrs ago

The Makah Tribe has called the spectacular Neah Bay, Washington area home since time immemorial. The name Makah was attributed to the Tribe by the neighboring tribes, meaning “people generous with food” in the Salish language. The meaning still applies today.

This huge barn is on Whidbey Island and remote and lots of 'No Trespassing' signs so this is all I could get.
See y'all whenever!!!

That's a weird barn in the first picture and a pretty weird on in the last picture! Have a great time on your upcoming adventure. I'm sure you will. Sounds like lots of fun. Re your comment on Ocala: The photo was taken in our mall and those massage chairs (along with a number of others) are in the middle of the mall corridor! Which is pretty dumb 'cause you have to watch out or you'll run right into them.

Nice photos and the first barn looks as if it was built in 3 stages. LOL The second one is huge. Wonder what it looks like inside. Wishing you blue skies and lots of fun on your trip. Peace

I like the geometric design of the first barn.

Great collection of pictures. Especially like that strange little building with all the odd angles. Whidbey Island is where I'll be next week visiting friends, so I'll have to look for that barn. Have a great week.

The Salish have a wide range. Our local Tla'amin (Sliammon) are or Salish origin. There are canoe festivals when they all get together. There was one here that we attended and it was very interesting. - Margy

Mary Beth, do you highlight a picture and then cut and paste it to move it? It works great for me. I've seen dome like buildings around here, perhaps they were a kit. Have a great trip and please stop back again when you can.

I have been on Whidbey Island when visiting my son on Bainbridge Island , but our little summer trips have never taken us out to the tip past Olympic National Park. You are sososososo LUCKY to be going there! Please take lots of pictures and share them with us. The barn is really a unique one. The shape is so unusual. I would love to see it in person. genie
