It is Outdoor Wednesday time so let's look at what is going on outdoors.
Remember I showed pics of Bob cutting down trees and sawing them into rounds HERE well now he is cutting them to woodstove size.
And this is just part of it. Bob does a good job of this he makes it seem effortless and I know it is not.
My Saucer Magnolia is reblooming for Fall
Out looking for a sunset we find farmers still in the field
Across a waiting potato field
Bingo loves being outdoors sitting in the sun

What a wonderful series of shots. Chopping up firewood is not easy so I give Bob a lot of credit. Love that magnolia bloom, too, and of course, Bingo just makes the world a better place!
Kudos to Bob and the work involved to get the firewood ready for winter. And your Magnolia is stunning I haven't seen one since I left Calif in 2007. Bingo takes the prize of sunshine like Astro, get it while it's here.
Great shots, I love the sunset.
hugs to Bingo
Sawing and splitting all that wood will keep you warm a number of times. Love your sunset photo with the two tractors, and that is a cute dog.
Bingo looks stoic. I love that mountain view.
could almost smell the fresh-cut wood...
Is Bob hand splitting all of that firewood! That's heavy work!
Wow---that is alot of wood.... Bob is amazing.... We used to 'buy' our firewood for the fireplace... That job became too much for George (when he had serious back problems) so we switched to a gas log fireplace... We still use it for heating in winter --and have a fireplace fan blowing that heat into the room... It does a good job and I'm glad we have it ---but there's nothing like the smell of a good wood-fire.... Miss it!!!!!
Love that magnolia bloom. SO pretty.
Hugs,
Betsy
Fabulous - wonderful photos.
Our woodshed was full in June, a rarity for us. Wayne helped a friend redo her cabin deck and the payment was all the old wood. Now we have a raft full of old cedar decking and no where to put it out of the elements. We probably won't need it this season anyway, so it can stay where it is and get cut up for next year. - Margy
