Buck who was Bob's dog for 11 years and 2 1/2 of those years he was my dog too, has left us. He crossed over the Rainbow Bridge.
Buck was a Chocolate Lab and a very happy and contented good buddy.
Who else would play with a white frisbee in the snow.
He would look at you with those sorrowful eys that said "Please play ball with me".
And if you didn't want to play just yet he would have a great chew.
He loved to be petted
He says, "Shake my paw and I'll see ya later".
We loved that ole furry friend.

Oh, I'm so sorry. A life companion like Buck, leaves an enormous hole when they leave you. When My little Suzie left I hadn't realised that I had made eye contact every time I went to the Rayburn to fetch a towel or put food in to cook. Her basket was there and I just hadn't realised that we had eye contact then.... so many different ways of missing!! Thinking of you.....gentle hugs. Joan

Ahhwww... this really broke my heart to see and read this. I am sorry, these pets become our best friends, our family, one of the kids. It does leave an emptiness inside when it is time for them to leave. (hug)

Labs are the best dogs. I lost both my yellow and chocolate labs and I still miss them. Sorry to hear about your Buck!
Sad - I've never had a dog so I dont really know how close people get to them. But its clear that they are really important.

Sorry for your loss. It's so hard to lose such a good friend. My daughter's chocolate lab looks so much like Buck, and I know that sorrowful eyes look very well.
Oh, I am sorry for you guys...and cannot see a lab without thinking of one my older daughter had for a couple years...but that is not for now. Just know there are a lot of us that feel your pain.

So very sorry to hear about Buck. Those wonderful 4 legged friends come and go too soon from our lives however they enrich our lives while they are here more than we miss them when they are gone. Peace be with you both.
