Center of the Universe~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Monday Murals

In the Little town of Concrete Wa. is this great mural.  It used to be the Police Dept. but they have moved now.  I love it.  Concrete is great little town population about 750 year round but it is a great base for going to the North Cascades.  Super little Mountain town.

That is a neat mural. I've been in a few places that have laid claim to be the "Center of the Universe". Who knew there was more than one center? I'll have to lookup where Concrete is on the map as I may get into Washington on our next road trip. Thanks for visiting the Women of the Wiregrass mural.

A pretty fancy mural, but then this is the "center of the known universe"!

Hey, are you calling my wild turkey a stick? You're right! But it sure looked like a turkey for a time!

A small town with a a sense of place and a sense of humor. Gotta love it. Did they ever make concrete there? Or am I being too concrete? Thanks for contributing to this week's Monday Mural.

LOL I guess Concrete is hard as rocks. I loved the red morning sky photo in the previous post. and your trip to Red Mountain looked like loads of fun. Hope the knee did okay on the hike. I am actually sitting at the computer. One small step for Kitty. Peace

Concrete is a fun little place. I took Mom there several years ago to check it out and go to the farmer's market. They had some great murals inside their community center as well. - Margy
