Apples and Sunflowers

We picked the Johnathan Apples and had to cut down some of the sunflowers because of a big windstorm that blew a lot of them over.
We had lots of different varieties of  Sunflowers

Lots of large and small apples
I peeled a bunch and made Applesauce.  Maybe some apple pies tomorrow.  I love applesauce
This guy and others were taller than the house
Another bouquet

Sunflowers are so cheery. I saw fields and fields of them yesterday traveling across North Dakota. And there is nothing better than homemade applesauce. :-)

Love love love apples. And sunflowers too! Sunflowers were our theme at our "country Wedding". We just celebrated 25 years this year. WOO hoo... you brought some nice memories. Pretty.

Very pretty. What a shame a windstorm blue them over but it gave you an excuse to bring them into the house. :)

It's almost lunch time. Wish we had some good apples. The last ones from the supermarket were all mushy! :(

We're doing fine. I've got to take a blogging break, though. Do some other things for awhile.

Say "Hi" to Bob, and keep on enjoying life!

What better than apple pie amid the warmth of all those glorious sunflowers around the house?
