Hummers for Wild Bird Wednesday

Well one particular Hummingbird anyway.
We were sitting on the patio yesterday evening surrounded by flowers and such.  the birds were busy at the feeders and several Hummingbirds were visiting the many flowers.  The Crocosmia is a particular favorite.  Of course I had my camera handy.  Here is a female Rufous and she was very busy.

Excellent photos! I've always liked hummingbirds, but they don't come this far north.

Wonderful pictures of a wonderful bird!

Also like the wood splitting post - wood fires get your warm at least 3 or 4 times in my experience!

Cheers and thanks for linking to WBW - Stewart M - Melbourne

Great shots, MB! These are so difficult to photograph and you did a super job!

They are just so darn cute...and I do think 'cute' is a good description of a humming bird. Also a chickadee for some reason. Most other birds I think of as beautiful, pretty, etc.
