Our resident Eagles on a gloomy day. These are Eagles that stay year around--not ones that come for the winter. Here they are at their nest. I posted pictures in the early summer of them feeding their young. They look so majestic.
I feel like I should apoligize for posting so many Mt. Rainier pictures, but I just am in awe when I look out and there she is!! I took this this morning at 7:47--the second pic is just how I see her from my bedroom. Just look at the colors--what can I say--I am speechless. Glorious!! Yesterday she had wispy clouds circling her crown so that it looked like she was smoking a little. I should post that pic too. Maybe some other day. She is an active volcano as is Mt. Baker. Usually this time of year we have gray and gloomy weather but not now---just mountains!! MB
Just some shots I took here and there: 1. Feather washed ashore 2. wind surfer 3. paddle boat or stern wheeler 4. Bandon light house. Isn't it nice. 5. My find!! Modern day petroglyph found on the beach.
Typical me!! I had another photo planned but when I saw the sky tonight I shifted gears. The sky was beautiful and I grabbed my camera and raced down the road (away from all the trees) and aimed west. 1. Sunset over Port Susan Bay with a trace of the Olympics in the background. 2. Just more sky.

....a few more pictures of Mt. Rainier. We have had rainy, overcast days lately and when I saw this sky this morning and the grand Mountain, herself, rising through the dawn I couldn't NOT take another shot. The second picture was yesterday morning before we got complete cloud cover. I never get enough of the mountain---I hope you don't either. MB
I have a friend who lives at Driftwood Shores on Camano Island, so the boys and I went to visit. The boys had a grand time playing in/on the driftwood.
1. Glancing down the spit. 2. Brett digging in 3. Where's Bradley
Your fairy is called Columbine Goblindancer She is a bringer of riches and wealth. She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows. She is only seen when the bees swarm and the crickets chirrup. She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.
