We have been having rain, rain, rain and guess what more rain. The rivers are starting to overflow. Here is the Skagit River in Conway by us.
This pic is in Conway by the South Fork Bridge. It is where the fishermen or boaters go to put their small boats in the water. Well they don't have to go to the boat ramp now, do they??

That certainly is not good at all.... flood waters are not appealing to see close to home.
When we kayaked the Skagit several years ago, this is where we pulled out. This is amazing. Are the fields around the delta flooding as well? - Margy

It all looks so dismal. Funny how we do need rain, but not too much. We need sun, but not too much.
It rained here for a couple of days - one day was solid rain all day which is very unusual for us. But now the sun is out although it's still quite cold - 50 degrees! Ugh!
We were looking at the map yesterday to see where the flooding was when we heard reports. I can't believe the boat ramp - that takes a lot of water to flood there. They said the river was cresting at 29 feet - amazing. Thanks for the pictures - now we know where to NOT go, although I bet there would be some great photos of Snow Geese and Trumpeter Swans in the flooded fields.

We had 7 inches of rain early in the week. Was a good time to hide inside and read. Ah...and nap on the couch, being a holiday week.
Looks like you may have waded for some of these shots. Hope you are now high and dry.
