The birds are thick around the feeders. Rain, snow and/or sunshine.
This little guys are female Red-Winged Blackbirds.
This is a Mourning Dove waiting, waiting, waiting. They clean up the seeds on the ground.

My favorite the Dark-eyed Junco. Actually at the table. LOL

Well, I must say you are really for the birds! Seriously, this is great that you feed all these beautiful critters! I've never seen red-winged blackbirds like that, though. Ours are very black with bright reddish marks on the wings.
They are all so beautiful. And I'm pretty sure the red tailed hawk is wondering about "who" he'll have for lunch. :) The Junco's are sweet, aren't they?
Love your birdies, Mary Beth.. The female Blackbirds remind me a little of our female Rose-breasted Grosbeak (except that the Grosbeaks are smaller).
The Thrush is a gorgeous bird ---and like you, I love the Junco...
Thanks for sharing.
Hugs,
Betsy
The birds eat all day long at my house too. The jays are quite acrobatic. You got some great shots. Especially the junco.
I hope the hawks lunch isn't your favorite. ;-)
My feeders are full all day long too, but mostly Redpolls and a few Chickadees. I'm looking forward to seeing the Juncos come back for the summer. They are such a sweet little bird.
I like Juncos, but it is hard to forgive them for raiding my garden just after I planted all my seeds. - Margy
you've got me warbling with pleasure. hope the hawk doesn't eat any of the other diners.
Your diner is certainly very popular with a wide clientele. You got some wonderful pictures. I really like the photo of the bird eating at the table. Such good manners!
They're hungry!
The grass there is green! Niiice! =)
ps i just read your comment about missing barn charm... i understand, can't post anything if ya have no electric! =0 Yikes
Glad it's back on, now! See ya next week =)
You have quite the fast-food place for red-tailed hawks, me thinks.
I do love to watch the birds! dark-eyed juncos are such sweet birds.
Okay, let me see if I've got this straight: Your female red-winged blackbirds don't have red wings but just a little reddish bar and they are not even black, they are brown.
It's all very confusing.
On the other hand, as I stood with friends on the first tee of the Stone Creek golf course at 8:00 this morning, lo and behold, a beautiful bald eagle flew right over our heads! Fantastic sight!
Hi MB,
Are these your bird feeders? I have a couple of them and because the weather has been so nice I can't keep up with the little eaters. Need to get more seed this week.
Looks like its been cold and windy your way is that right?
I was looking at all my cards. I have so many from you and most are hand made. All so pretty. Plus postcards you got for me. You are a good girl.
Well off to do something around here. was just thinking about you and thought I would see what you are up to. Feeding birds I guess.
How is Kayle and the horses?

My favorite is same as used, but that hawk is ominous--Yikes. The greedy little creatures may be so engaged in gorging, they are not aware of their surroundings.
I was off in some alternate universe yesterday, la-la land, & forgot to thank you for including Landon in your prayers! I worry about him & my sister, ya know... thanks, Mary Beth! =)
