I love that you have the old and the new! The old barn isn't long for the world and I'm glad you got a picture of it. It's nice to see a new barn going up that isn't a pole barn.
Hello There, Since I've been away from blogging for a week, I have alot of catching up to do. We had a wonderful trip to Arkansas --but it's great to visit with my blog friends. Hope things are going well with you.
Great barn pictures, Mary Beth... Love the 'new' one --but that old one certainly has character... Hugs, Betsy
What a nice set of pics. The old one has seen the hail stones and felt the claps of thunder and seen lightening strike and snuggled with the cows and horses and chickens. The new one will never do those things. I choose the old one.
Your fairy is called Columbine Goblindancer She is a bringer of riches and wealth. She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows. She is only seen when the bees swarm and the crickets chirrup. She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.

What a super post! You outdid yourself again! Couldn't be a better example of old and new...the new looks like a copy of the old!
The new website is up and running...and we're posting on the blogs there...Y'all come!

What a difference and contrast of the old and the new....Great job...
wow, what a difference. (:
the old one certainly has charm, but doesn't seem long for this world...
I love the old one and the new one looks like it is being done good enough to live in!
Ha! They were smart to build a new barn, ah?

Oh, my....change indeed. Is it raining in your first photo? I wonder how many years before the second looks like the first.
What a contrast! I think I almost like the first one better than the second -- more character? :)
That new barn is just as amazing as the old one! The old one doesn't seem to be destined to be much longer on this earth.
Just give that new barn 100 years.
Oh...your old barn is similar to mine in quality!
I like the new one but the old one really pulls me in. Not much life left in it :(
That new one is one nice barn, but I gotta say that old one is so much more picturesque and makes a fantastic photo.

nice comparison but i'm still a sucker for the old!
Hi, MB...I didn't quite understand your last comment...what site? What old computer? Where were you trying to get?
Maybe I'm just sleepy! :-)
Even though it has served its purpose and is deteriorating, I still like the looks of the old barn.
When we were in Eastern Washington I took some barn pictures to share too. - Margy
I guess it is time to take that old barn down. Too bad.
The new one is pretty and I love the fence.
It sure does, doesn't it! =0
Great barns! Look at the roof on that 1st one & the cupola on the 2nd. What's holding the 1st one up?
Thanks for high-steppin it over, much appreciated! =)
Sad, that first barn probably won't last many more years, a good wind or snow will topple it.
lOOKS AS IF THE OLD BARN WILL NOT BE THERE THE NEXT TIME YOU LOOK. The new barn has plenty of room. Peace
Wow, what a dramatic difference! I kinda like that old barn, though.
What a contrast!
Regards and best wishes
beautiful skies!
