There are still two short streets in Stanwood with the original (mostly) brickwork. Not quite cobble stones. to view more April theme day images go to

Neat, Mary Beth... My favorite place to see cobblestone streets is in Charleston, South Carolina. I love hearing the horses on the cobbletones...Clip Clop, Clip Clop... Such a wonderful sound...
These streets may not be cobblestone, but they are still pretty neat. When I was growing up my hometown had brick streets around the courthouse, but they have since been paved.
Your fairy is called Columbine Goblindancer She is a bringer of riches and wealth. She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows. She is only seen when the bees swarm and the crickets chirrup. She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.

I like the rumbley sound when driving on a brick road. Not too many left, and probably the closest thing to cobblestone around.
Nice shots. Good choices both of them for the theme day.
a good choice for this theme day
Hey, judging by how the ones on the road were placed, I might be able to get a job in Stanwood laying brick roadways. :)
Do I know this place? :-)
Even brickwork can be bumpy riding and a bit noisy.

Have a great day.

Your brick streets would seem close enough to cobblestone to me. Heck, I forgot the theme entirely. Stanwood appears to be a nice little town.
And I took the pictures on the golf course you silly person! I can also walk and chew gum at the same time! So there!

Close enough to cobblestones for me! :)
Cool seeing the large flocks of snow geese. Wonderful series of photos.
