Wonderful season - we first tasted pear-sauce in Wisconsin one year when Don's aunt made some -now it is a must in the autumn. Lovely photos - and great header!
Your fairy is called Columbine Goblindancer She is a bringer of riches and wealth. She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows. She is only seen when the bees swarm and the crickets chirrup. She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.

How wonderful to have a garden big enough for pear and apple trees. How do you use and preserve them? - Margy
...this is a fabulous time of year with fruit ready to be picked.
The pears look sooo good, enjoy!
I can't recall the last time I've had a pear.
They look great. Are they Bartlett's? What do you use the pear sauce on?
The pears look delicious. You are are lucky to have a good crop.
I remember this time of year well with our pear tree at our former home. Wonder what the new owners are doing with them...
Happy September to you!
