Hello,

That is a good sign. I hope drivers are paying attention. Have a happy day!

Even here in this part of the city we have to be careful. I see a lot of squirrels and raccoons crossing the busy streets. The other day, when the traffic was very light, the car in front of me stopped in the middle of the road, I waited patiently suspecting some creature was crossing the street... sure enough, it was a little squirrel that was not sure where to go: to the left or the right? The creature finally decided to go to the right... very slowly... then I realized the squirrel must have been injured to walk so slowly.

We too have similar signs in some suburbs where there are ducks or kangaroos crossing the streets.

Good to help the critters. There's a turtle crossing sign we pass every time we drive north and south to Powell River. I always look for a turtle sunning on the log in the nearby lake but no luck yet. - Margy

The critters need all the help they can get. Being in the road can be deadly.

Animals can use that help.
