May 1st theme day~~~~Artisan

An artisan or craftsman is a skilled hands on worker who makes items that may be decorative or functional, including jewelry, sculpture, tools or household items  or even machines such as the handmade watches. An artisan is therefore a person engaged in or occupied by the practice of an art or craft and experience will reach the expressive levels of an artist using his hands, mind and heart in his work and what he creates.
The hands of an artisan---a very amateur one,
 Grows things from seeds,
 And plants them in pots,
 and containers,
and shares the enjoyment with others.

I have always heard that when you plant, you believe in tomorrow. I love to watch tiny seeds grow into plants. Love the blue flower in the container. Peace

You, my friend, really are an 'artisan'..... Your flowers are gorgeous ---and you have worked HARD at it...

I get so tired of people who go to Lowe's and buy their spring flowers and stick them into the ground with some mulch --and then call themselves GARDENERS... Real gardeners grow flowers from seeds and bulbs. YEAH!!!

Hugs,
Betsy

I just love your last shot with the hummingbird! Planting and growing things is a truly creative - and very satisfying - act, isn't it? Good take on the theme!

I'm very impressed with the artisan whose work you shared with us. I wonder if I can guess who she is?

Oh, I absolutely agree with the sentiment in this post. I haven't seen a hummingbird in many a year, what a beautiful way to end it!
