This barn and amazing house and pasture full of gorgeous Draft Horses is now being used as a Wedding, large group party place and Honeymoon Lodge. The horses will pull a fancy cart to transport the Newlyweds to the lodge. Get the rice ready!!
This barn down by the river has an apartment built up in the loft area. What fun.

I would love to have that last one...the first is a beauty.
I love the fact that old buildings can be used for new activities! What a beautiful venue for a wedding. The shape of both the barns is wonderful.
Both beautiful, but I like the more relaxed feel of the second. I'll bet they have a nice view of the Valley from those windows.
Both are great barn finds. I'd move in to the red one in a minute.
That first barn looks like a very neat place, although I bet the apartment in that second barn is pretty neat as well.
Wow--that is awesome... I love that first one and it would be great for weddings and all sorts of things... How special...
I'd love to see the apartment in the 2nd one also...
Hugs,
Betsy
Wonderful uses of barns.
Very nice. I feel more comfortable with the second barn. The first barn is really nice and glad it is being used for weddings, etc. -- but I sure like the second barn!
I see the little wood boat leaning against the side of that barn and wonder if there is a pond nearby.
Both are great barns in their own way.
I'll stop by soon.
Take care.
wow, two barns. which is better. no clue... they are both so great. i love how they look like they have faces. cute. (:
These are two rather spectacular places. I mean why not get married in a barn and have your honeymoon in a barn? And while you're at it why not live in the hayloft of a barn?
Sheesh. Y'all are weird up thar in them parts!
Just kidding. That first place is quite beautiful and I can imagine would be a lot of fun. Great place for taking wedding photos! The second is fine but needs a coat of paint. I wonder if it still smells like a barn? :-)
I've been trying to leave a comment on your other blog re all the beautiful snow which I'm glad I don't have to drive in or shovel. Purty, though!
I've had a problem with blogger the past couple of days in that sometimes the comment box doesn't come up.
Thus, I'm commenting on this blog as you can tell. Right?
And re your question: He's our great-grandson, Owen! Now 2 years old!
You have the most interesting barns in your area. I love the one for the weddings and honeymoon. :)
They are both nice! I wouldn't mind living in that apartment loft.
I'd live or at least stay at that first one. Beautiful!
A unique use for the structures. I love the apartment upstairs..and I bet the inside of the one where the wedding are held is really beautiful. genie
What beautiful barns & I love the shape of them both. It would be nice to have a wedding there!
Thanks a million for waddling to Barn Charm! =)
The first barn is extremely well kept! An apartment over a barn sounds interesting. I wonder if the floors are warm or cold.
I've seen quite a few barns I'd love to convert to a home... love your shots!
Love these barn images, and a lot of folks are converting barns into apartments. I have a post coming this Thursday from the movie "Witness" location tour that i went to this past Sept in Lancaster county, so i hope some of you guys can stop over. Lots of images from the location of where Harrison Ford made this movie. Richard
So, did you get hit by the big snowstorm yet?
Be careful! Stay in where it's warm.
The draft horse barn will do well and many happy memories will be made there. I love the idea of the horses taking the NW to the lodge. Other one is unique, I love the up turned boat but wonder why the trees were planted so close to the power line. Peace
Is that top barn in Shipshiwana, In? If so, I've been there for a ladies' retreat!
You have some gorgeous barns in your area- love the red one, of course!
