Looking East from Camano Island

Camano Island is just across the General Mark Clark bridge from Stanwood. Camano is a small island maybe 20 miles long with two state parks and small county parks. very beautiful. Here are some views across Port Susan Bay looking at and towards Stanwood and Mt. Baker.

Good morning Small City Gal. Thanks for visiting my blog and your kind words about my doodles. I've enjoyed looking at life in the Metroplis of Stanwood through the eye of your camera.

I would love to see one of your doodles. Scan one for me and I'll post it on my blog, and give you a link.

It's nice to "meet" someone that actually knows where Brookings is. Tell your cousin hello - who knows, in this town we might know each other.

I told Chuck this morning that I don't know anything about sailing but his photo made me want to learn.

I would have to repeat this for your photo. The pictures are very nice.

Water and mountains. How can anyone live without them?

I would like to be on one of the boats now instead of sitting in a cube. I bet sailing is fun.

I finally visited Camano Island after all these years living in Seattle. It was beautiful.
Our son, when he was shopping for colleges, visited Central and WSU, but selected Western Washington in Bellingham because it was surrounded by water and mountains with trees.

These are wonderful, MB! You are so right about the magnificence of this state. These last two posts of yours reflect that beautifully.
