Neat that there are places where people trust each other.....that reads really bad, LOL. I like the pumpkins growing. I wonder if we have any growers down here.

Paying by the honor system - what a throwback! "Louis" suspects that few abuse it there. Unfortunately, here in several parts of the Bay Area, the corn - and any money - would be stolen... ;-(

Your corn is still a bargain. My local stand is charging $4 a dozen. It tastes good, though, I have to admit.

We still have places in TN that have the same honor system. It is nice to know it also lives in your area. On the big island of Hawaii, Prince and I saw several honor system places to get fresh fruit. Now if it would just take off in the big cities. Oh my Pumpkins definately mean FALL. Peace

The corn price still looks like a bargain to me. I’m glad to see the farmers trust the folks to pay.

A great collection of photos. You've really shown many aspects of your town. The football uniforms, the pumpkins - it's fall, isn't it?

The honor system is cool. I see it occasionally in rural areas, mostly at small flower stands, and I always wonder how honorable people are any more. I'm glad it still works.

You have more patience than do to put togeher something like this, a day in the life. Really great idea .
I am slowly learning about the honor system there, all through blogging on the dailies.

All awesome shots, MB. When can we expect the book?

Sad that the costs of growing corn have risen so dramatically!!

(From the sign) Is the fertilizer below average too?

Thanks for your comment. But still, just a doodler.

I enjoy your blog.
