Swans and Barns and more

Every October the Trumpeter Swan wing there way down from Wrangle Island and Siberia to winter in the Skagit Valley.

 Well we tried to get the Mountain in also but at least you get the idea

 One of several barns on my daughter's ranch in Eastern Washington.  They started to tear it down but stuff got in the way and now she has yearlings to work---This is Oskar and Newt is cleaning up every last bit of hay

 And my Daughter

 These next two barns are lonely, sad and sorrowful---I think the bottom one has been torn down when the road was widened.

 I believe it is an Anna's Hummingbird---they winter here too---brrr--19 degrees this morning

 Bought another car today and Bingo spent some time in the office acting his cool self

Grateful

I am thankful I live in such a beautiful part of the world.  I love where I live in the beautiful state of Washington that we call Paradise.  I know we all call our home Paradise no matter where we live and that is the way it should be.

Fort Walla Walla Museum

Located on the grounds of a 19th-century military fort, Fort Walla Walla Museum provides an exciting and educational experience for the whole family. The Museum features a 17-building historic pioneer settlement, beautiful gardens, and five sprawling exhibit halls housing thousands of artifacts. The Entrance Building and Galleries feature dynamic exhibits, artifacts, and an admission-free Museum Store filled with books, heritage gifts, traditional crafts, old- fashioned toys and gourmet foods. There are special programs and events held on the Museum grounds all year, so there is always something new happening at the old fort.

The Museum is very huge and I took a zillion pictures and here are just a few. These are some of the outdoor buildings. There are 4 huge building with more archives. I hope to show those later
