The wooden boats were in Penn Cove, Whidbey Island and they were beautiful.

...a long way from home!
Beautiful old ship. Peace
What a lovely ship. I love that figurehead in your first shot!
What a gorgeous ship!
Those wooden boats are wonderful. I’m in awe of the work and talent to build them *and* to maintain them in such good condition.
It would be lovely to ride that in the sunset.
My SIGNS, SIGNS
Old wooden ships have such character.
What a beautiful ship!
Beautiful ship, love that last photo.
A great day to be at Penn Cove for sure.
I'm giving all the blogs I visit fair warning that I might be real scarce as we sort out internet in the country. It will be satellite and just not sure how it will work for blogging. Cheers.
That is a really beautiful gif rigged schooner. I knew it had to be Hawaiian the moment I saw the figure head. Your photo caught the boat at the perfect time with all the sails set.
