March 1st--CDP Theme day topic "AGING"

City Daily Photo Theme day for the first of March is Aging.
These are pictures of my Mother who aged so gracefully. A beautiful young lady and a beautiful and gracious Woman.
As a beautiful 8 year old
As a saucy 16 year old
As a charming 95--yes--95year old.  She lived life on her own terms.
I miss her!

I love how she's dressed to match the tulips, MB! It looks like she was still getting around well at 95. You have food genes!

Brilliant MB. And I think I know the last place :-) though not with the beautiful old lady in the gorgeous hat!

A beautiful series of photos MB. I especially like that first shot. I lost my mother at a very young age (I was 18 months old), so I only have old black and white pictures of her. You are truly fortunate to have had your mother for so long!

Thanks for sharing about your mom. My mom was beautiful all 96 years until her passing. She looked so youthful with mostly brown hair (natural) and a face that made you think she was years younger. I would have loved to have her figure at any age. Only the arthritis in her fingers gave away her true age. I miss my mom so much. - Margy

Ah---I feel as if I knew your mother. I remember when you'd go to Whidbey Island to visit her...What a gorgeous lady---ALL of her life. I can imagine how much you miss her. I miss my mother also.

Hugs,
Betsy

A perfect post for aging. Your mother was certainly a beauty.

What a wonderful set of three images to indicate ageing, and to take us on a tour of your mother's life, albeit extremely briefly. I do especially like the image of her, aged 95, tripping out to send the post. She is dressed so brightly. I suspect that indicated her outlook on life.

Thank you for this very personal contribution to our Theme Day. It is much appreciated ...
