This nest is really close to where we live--just around the corner actually. This is not the nest I pictured a week or so ago. I have watched this nest for several years and recently remarked to Bob that I have watched this nest and have never seen any Eagles around. I figured it was just an old abandoned nest when lo and behold as we passed it yesterday---'Look there!!! I see a white head in the nest!!', I enthused.
It's a Bald Eagle for sure
I think there are two heads in there!
I zoomed in and although it is a bit blurry---Two birds confirmed
Zoom on over to Stewart's place and see many more birds from all over the world for WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY HERE and enjoy!

Stunning images of the ospreys on the nest.
I hope they will breed.
Perfect photographed, my compliments.
I will one day get a shot of an eagle. There are still a gazillion reserves I haven't visited in Florida.
What a delightful surprise. You'll have several nests to keep track of in the days ahead.
awesome! i hope they have a successful brood!
Fabulous - I think we've been photographing the same tree - love the colors.
Fantastic that you have this nest just around the corner. I would be out there every minute I could be.
From high above the mighty eyes keep their ever faithful watch.
The bald eagles are such beauties. You're lucky to be in such close proximity.
You are soooo lucky!
A big sturdy nest. Two heads must mean family time is near. - Margy
I I am excited for you! Wonderful that someone has "moved in!"
