Hi again: Re your comment on Cedar Key - yes, pack your bags. We'll go to Cedar Key, find the owner of the plane and see if he or she will give you a ride. That would be fun!
Someone once told Lois Anne to pack her old bag and come visit. She said OK, but she planned to leave me at home.
It is a new way to tell us to " eat their dust" as they sit inside a air condition cab playing George Strait's tunes. I sure think that would be lots of fun but then again I am country to the core. LOL My Prince loves tractor therapy and he would be in Heaven in one of these. Peace
I am a 'city' (small town) gal who knows NUTTIN about farming.. But--I have learned alot from other bloggers. One in particular (Linda in Colorado) writes great blog posts about their experiences farming there. HARD WORK--and yes, I'm sure they all make lots of dust!!!! Hugs, Betsy
Your fairy is called Columbine Goblindancer She is a bringer of riches and wealth. She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows. She is only seen when the bees swarm and the crickets chirrup. She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.

heavy duty crop farming, there! my father used to help the farmers every spring and fall w/ discing and plowing, etc.
Love to see them work. LOVE this post. B
Wonderfully rural shots. Even when we think they're not busy, like winter, they have plenty to keep them occupied.
Imagine all those years the farmers "made dust" without an enclosed cab!
Potato time!
Like that sticker. Reminds me of the "I thought milk came from the supermarket" kind of thing.

Farmers are another very under-appreciated group! I'll bet if you asked most city kids where their food came from, they would name the local grocer!
Lots of money in those machines! Yikes.
I tried to hug a farmer once. She slapped my face. That wasn't very nice. :)
Neat photos showing life on a farm as it really is this time of year. :)
