FeedingTime

A couple of babies learning how to feed themselves.  Evening Grosbeak Mom and Pop stick close to their young one while he tries to figure out how to feed himself.  He makes a mess but he does prevail.
Mama Hairy Woodpecker stuffing suet into Juniors gullet--he tries to feed himself but then he cries for his Mama.

Swing on over to Stewart's place HERE  for Wild Bird Wednesday and enjoy.

I just love it when they flutter and ask the parents for food.
This year our hummingbird feeder have been taken over by Downey and Red Bellied Woodpeckers. I think we are gonna have to start a Rehab for Sugar Addict Pecker woods. Peace

That's about as cute as it gets. You are channelling your inner bird photographer. Nicely done!

Such fun to watch and photograph! Bird parents are amazingly patient.
