This barn is on the same dirt road I live on. I have pictured it before. It is almost gone on the other side. The whole property is now for sale. It has an older house and a middle aged house and several fenced pastures. I know the people that live there now love the old barn and have tried to keep it afloat. I hope it doesn't get torn down. My grand-daughter took this picture and glamorized the second one.
wiggle on over to Tricia's at www.bluffareadaily.blogspot.com to view more charming barns.
ENJOY!!

Hi Mary Beth, I love that old barn also--but I'll bet IF and WHEN that property is sold, someone will tear it down. SO--take lots of pictures of it....
Hugs
Betsy
It's a lovely old barn and it would be a shame if it got torn down. Looks like it would be an expensive proposition to fix it up though.
You got to love a barn with a good ventilation system like that. :)
It'll cost a lot of money to save this ol beauty! Is that what they call a 'shaker-roof'?
Love the ol dark barn wood & that fence
Thanks for the wiggle =)
It's gonna blow away all by its little self...and there ain't much left to blow away.
Your granddaughter done good. I like the infrared, too. Smart young lady! Rides horses I understand.
Hope you have a great day hobbling about. Or are you back to running and hiking up mountains?
Looks like it's time os nearly over...but maybe someone will rescue it!
I looked at that first photo, and thought, that is only half a barn...
But it is just beautiful!! Would be too bad if it was torn down, but how safe is it?
The barn definitely needs some TLC, but it is charming anyway. I like the way your grand-daughter glamorized the picture for you.
boy that one looks like it's on its last leg! cool barn.
