Well loved little barn for Barn Charm

Isn't this a dandy little barn. Even though someone boarded up the windows they also put on a new metal roof. And planted very large flowers by the front. MB

Ske-daddle on over to Tricia's place to see all the other barns of Barn Charm.

I love the two non boarded up windows. And yes, the two flowers are so sweet!

This is a sweet one! Looks like they are working to keep it standing. Maybe a little paint next....

The flowers remind me of the Pennsylvania Dutch who put "designs" on their structures for good luck.

It is kinda "dandy," if you know what I mean! I mean, who the heck puts a new roof on an old, falling down barn? And those flowers - sheesh! Maybe hippies live here? Aha, I'll bet that's it. Stanwood Hippies, Inc. :-)

Re the runner: That's Lois Anne on her 4 1/2 mile run. I just played with the photo a bit!

Re the deer: You're such a cynic. And I can't remember you ever being wrong. And you're not wrong here. Although the photo wasn't actually "staged," it is a metal deer sculpture at that beautiful front entrance to Stone Creek!

I like your barn for its nice shape and especially for the decorative approach the owner made. A fine barn picture.

OHhh I LOVE how they turned the windows sideways upstairs (& those great big flowers, too)... & THAT is a SPIFFY new roof! I hope they do something w/ the windows & not leave them boarded up, but no matter, at least they're making use of the place & not destroying it!!! =) Great find, MB!

PS LOVE THAT SKY & THOSE MOUNTAINS in the background... YaY!

LoL! Just read your comment about the 'coffin sticks' =) Those suckers have gone up almost .50 a pack just since I quit... AWFUL!

It almost looks as though the barn is struggling under the weight of the new roof. I love the tilted windows at the top. And what gorgeous scenery to be plopped down in the middle of.

Definitely a neat barn and with flowers you never have to water - how cool is that :)

That is a very good roof and adds charm to the whole barn, boarded or not!

That's a barn? It looks big enough to be a house. The roof looks newer than the rest of the building.
