Sky Watch across the Valley

Today I woke up to a light dusting of snow---that happens when you live in the foothills.  The sun soon came out and melted the snow.  It was cloudy too.  I drove down in the Skagit Valley to check out ---well everything--and took this shot looking east across the valley.  I love it.

See the snow line---that is the edge where I live. Somewhere.  MB

That's a cold looking sky (and mountain top!) I wonder when the tulips will emerge this year...

Beautiful picture--the houses help put everything in perspective. Those are huge mountains and a BIG sky. Very nice. Mickie

Hiyo Silver, away!

Beauty of a photo, MB!

You really live up that high? Or are you naturally high? What's the elevation?

And have a great day.

I don't use the term breathtaking often but that image is ... breathtaking. Really nice.

Of course I noticed the red horse barn immediately. And, when I enlarge the image I could see that nice two horse bumper pull trailer parked in front of the barn.

I kept thinking that it would take a lot of paint to keep that fence looking so good unless it is that new type of fence you don't have to paint (but which is really expensive). As I look at it now I am guessing that is the new fence but, then again, it should last a long time.

Oh, yes ... the mountains in the background are pretty nice, too! Heh! Seriously, you know you are not in Kansas or Iowa when you see that!

Take care.

This is a gorgeous landscape with the houses as a setting for the mountain range with its snowy cap.
You live in a very picturesque part of our state. Beautiful image today.

I love the views across the Skagit Valley, and the contrast of the snow on the hills with the green of the valley makes for a stunning photo. Of course, every photo I've taken with those hills in the background seems to turn out good!

Yes, if I squint just right I can see your place. :)
What a beautiful valley whether looking into it from above or out of it from below. Ahhh.
Thank you for you kind wishes. Hope I'll be up and around soon.
