Snow cave

Small cave covered by slide

I found this while rummaging around in the North Cascades. A small snow cave that a slide had over run. There was no snow execpt up high in the mountains but this got covered over by a slide--I think anyway. I tried to peek in the cave as far as I could--hey, it's dark in there.

I love exploring in snow caves. Some can get fairly long and the snow formations are always interesting.

My coyote would go in without any fear!

MB, are you sure it's not a piece of dirty cast-off Styrofoam? :)

It's June, for crying out loud. Snow is for December ..... oh well. I still think it's Styrofoam ... you can't fool me. :))

I'm so glad you stopped by and shared your sweet thoughts about Colton. He is doing so much better now. I am happy indeed.

That snow cave is one amazing sight but I'm afriad I wouldn't have gotten anywhere near it ... just admire it from afar.

Beautiful photography!
