MB You said it well. I am Thankful for those who rest underneath the flag but my thoughts go hurrily to the Mothers and on down the line of family to wish them Peace as their life will not ever be the same with the lost of thier love one I have been behind again and I enjoyed all the previous post andphotos. Thanks for sharing. Peace
MB, A perfect image and tribute. Every member of my family, except for myself, served in the armed forces. One of the most touching memorials I've ever witnessed was the honor guard rifle salute and flag ceremony at my father's graveside service. From a Quaker (a peace church) family background he was a CO and served as an army medic in WWII. He was awarded a purple heart and he rescued and tended the wounded on the front in France and Germany, stayed with dying men, comforting them through their own last moments. . .and never spoke of it. I only learned of it through interviewing his brother-in-law and other medics from his unit after he had passed away. That flag the honor guard folded and handed us still speaks volumes. Thanks for your touching photo. -Kim Seattle Daily Photo
Your fairy is called Columbine Goblindancer She is a bringer of riches and wealth. She lives in mushroom fields and quiet meadows. She is only seen when the bees swarm and the crickets chirrup. She wears lilac and purple like columbine flowers. She has gentle green wings like a butterfly.

Nice post, MB. It's important to remember those who've gone before us or who've paid the ultimate sacrifice for or freedom.
Well done, Mary Beth.
Touching post
Yes, lest we forget ... life is fleeting and quite precious.
Touching tribute MB.
